# Event Blueprint Finalised at High-Level Meeting Chaired by Former Delhi Finance Minister Shri Jagdish Mukhi with Delhi Minister Shri Kapil Mishra
In a major initiative to promote rural entrepreneurship, traditional craftsmanship, and sustainable livelihoods, a week-long Pre-Diwali Cow-Based Products Fair will be held at Delhi Haat, Janakpuri, from November 1 to 7, 2026.
The event roadmap was discussed in detail during a high-level meeting led by Shri Jagdish Mukhi, former Finance Minister of Delhi and former Governor of Assam and several other states, along with Shri Kapil Mishra, Delhi's Minister for Art, Culture & Labour. The initiative aims to strengthen indigenous industries, create employment opportunities, and encourage the adoption of environmentally sustainable and eco-friendly products.
The fair will feature a diverse range of cow-based products, including briquetting machines, agricultural products, home and garden décor, handcrafted idols, planters, diyas, Diwali pooja essentials, pure ghee, sanitizers, mosquito-repellent products, herbal formulations, wall paints, and several other utility products. More than 200 exhibition stalls are expected to be set up by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from across the country, offering visitors a wide variety of innovative and sustainable products.
Building on the success of last year's edition, which was held at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, this year's fair will be organised in a larger and more engaging format at Delhi Haat, Janakpuri. In addition to the product exhibition, the week-long event will feature cultural performances, children's games and entertainment activities, and a specially curated mini gaushala, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere for families and visitors. The fair will also provide a unique opportunity to interact directly with artisans, entrepreneurs, and rural innovators while exploring India's rich cultural and traditional heritage.
Scheduled just ahead of the Diwali festive season, the fair is expected to serve as an important marketing platform for artisans, self-help groups, startups, and rural enterprises. At the same time, it will offer visitors and their families a distinctive shopping experience by bringing together sustainable products, traditional craftsmanship, and festive celebrations under one roof.
