Dindayal Industries Begins Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturing in Rajasthan Under PPP Initiative

Dindayal Industries Limited has commenced the manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicines in Rajasthan with the operationalisation of new production facilities in Ajmer and Bharatpur, marking a significant expansion of the company's manufacturing network.

The new units have been established under the Rajasthan Government's Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative for government laboratories and will manufacture Ayurvedic medicines for supply to government Ayurvedic hospitals and dispensaries across the state.

Announcing the development, Aditya Chhaparwal, Director, Dindayal Industries Limited, said the expansion reflects the company's long-standing commitment to making quality Ayurvedic healthcare accessible to people across India.

“Good health is the foundation of a happy life, and ensuring the availability of effective healthcare has always been our guiding philosophy. Since 1927, Dindayal has been manufacturing trusted Ayurvedic formulations from its facilities in Gwalior and Bhind in Madhya Pradesh. With the commencement of production in Rajasthan, we are extending this legacy while supporting the state's public healthcare system,” he said.

Established in 1927, Dindayal Industries has built a strong presence in the Ayurvedic healthcare sector. The company has served the Rajasthan market for nearly six decades and is known for its portfolio of classical and proprietary Ayurvedic formulations. Products manufactured at the Ajmer and Bharatpur facilities will be produced using modern manufacturing processes, quality control systems and contemporary packaging standards.

The company estimates the Indian Ayurvedic products market at nearly ₹10,000 crore and aims to secure around 5 percent of this market.

Founded by Rajvaidya Late Shri Krishnadas Chhaparwal, the organisation's legacy was later carried forward by Late Dr. Gopal Krishna Chhaparwal and is currently led by Chairman Anand Mohan Chhaparwal. The company operates four depots in Jaipur, Kanpur, Raipur and Ghaziabad, supported by 10 super stockists, 40 area distributors and more than 300 distributors across the country.

Dindayal Industries manufactures over 600 Ayurvedic products, including classical and ethical formulations, Avaleha, Asava, Churna, medicated oils, Vati, Ras, Guggul, Bhasma, Pishti, capsules, tablets, syrups, herbal beverages, Sharbat and Thandai. Among its notable products is the Vatilizer 303 Ayurvedic Capsule, introduced as the country's first Ayurvedic capsule in its category. The company's Chyawanprash has also established a strong presence in the health supplement segment.

To meet growing demand, Dindayal Industries has expanded its manufacturing capacity, invested in modern production technologies and strengthened its nationwide distribution network. Today, its products are available through Ayurvedic pharmacies and healthcare outlets across India.

The company has also established the Dr. Gopal Krishna Chhaparwal Dindayal Research Foundation, which focuses on Ayurvedic research, scientific validation, education and professional development. Every production batch manufactured by Dindayal Industries undergoes quality testing at the Foundation's laboratory before being released to the market.

According to the company, the Foundation aims to strengthen evidence-based Ayurveda through research, scientific dialogue, seminars and training programmes while promoting greater integration between traditional Ayurvedic knowledge and modern scientific practices.

Reaffirming the company's philosophy, Dindayal Industries said it remains committed to delivering quality healthcare products while building long-term trust with consumers, healthcare professionals and business partners.
