flybig Expands Sahnewal-Ghaziabad Route to Five Days a Week, Extends INR 999 Fare Offer Through Diwali

India’s fastest-growing regional airline, flybig, a part of Big Charter Private Limited (BCPL), today announced an increase in flight frequency between Sahnewal Airport and Ghaziabad. Starting today, flights will operate five days a week, a step up from the previous four-day schedule. In addition, the airline is extending its popular base fare offer of INR 999 until Diwali, ensuring greater affordability and convenience for travelers during the festive season.

More Flights, More Convenience

Under the new schedule, flights will depart from Ghaziabad at 10:00 AM, arriving at Ludhiana Sahnewal Airport at 11:30 AM. The return flight will leave Ludhiana at 12:00 PM and reach Ghaziabad at 1:30 PM. This adjustment is part of flybig’s ongoing commitment to meeting growing passenger demand and provide a reliable travel experience.

The base fare of INR 999, initially available for just two months, was extended for an additional month due to its popularity. Now, it will be available until Diwali, making holiday travel more accessible.

Capt. Saanjay Mandavia, CMD and Founder, flybig, said, “We are thrilled to extend our INR 999 base fare until Diwali. This extension reflects our commitment to providing value to our passengers, especially during a busy travel season. We understand the importance of affordable travel options, and we hope this initiative makes it easier for people to connect with their loved ones during the festivities.”

Meeting Festive Demand

With Diwali approaching and train bookings already at capacity, flybig's expanded service offers a much-needed travel alternative. The increased frequency is a direct response to customer feedback and the consistently full bookings on the Ludhiana-Ghaziabad route.

flybig’s daily flights from Ludhiana to Ghaziabad are experiencing full bookings, highlighting the high demand for this service. Initially, the airline planned to reduce flights to two days a week after winter, but due to customer feedback, the schedule was increased to four days a week in April and is now enhanced to five days a week.

In light of the growing demand and the positive reception of the extended fare offer, flybig is also exploring further enhancements to their service. The airline is evaluating the potential for additional routes and increased capacity to better serve passengers throughout the year.

Expanding Horizons

The airline isn't stopping there. flybig is actively exploring additional routes and increased capacity to better serve passengers year-round. The all-inclusive fare offer applies to all flights in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, including Ludhiana, Bathinda, Ghaziabad, Chitrakoot, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Lucknow, and Shravasti.

Capt. Saanjay further added, ‘As part of our commitment to exceptional customer service, we are implementing new measures to streamline the travel experience. Enhanced digital check-in options and updated safety protocols will be introduced to ensure a smooth and secure journey for all passengers.”

These improvements are designed to enhance overall passenger satisfaction and reflect flybig’s ongoing efforts to provide a seamless travel experience. As the festive season approaches, the airline remains focused on delivering convenience and value to its passengers, making travel as pleasant and stress-free as possible.

Book Now, Fly Later

The booking window for these incredible fares is open from July 28th to August 15th, with travel validity from August 1st to September 30th, 2024.

As flybig continues to redefine regional air travel, this expansion and extended fare offer present an unprecedented opportunity for travellers. Whether reuniting with family for Diwali or embarking on a business trip, flybig is making air travel more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.
