India Book of Records kept shining in 2023


The record holders of the India Book of Records (IBR) kept the newsrooms abuzz around the year 2023. As the custodian of Indian record makers, IBR encouraged talented Indians to stretch their imaginations, spread their wings, and win new accolades in the fields of their choice. Not only individuals, but also government departments, corporate, and social organizations also did their best to set new benchmarks. M Dev Dharshan, Rifah Taskeen, Vyshak TV, Phoenix United, Techmaghi LLP, Apex Laboratories, Keval Foam Pvt Ltd, Vasantha Yoga Academy, Battala Sporting Club, and Commissionerate Police of Ludhiana are a few of the names that have set IBR records recently.

 

Phoenix United (Upal Developers Pvt Ltd) of Lucknow set the record for making the Biggest Wooden Diya. The feat of floating on his back in the water for the longest duration was set by M Dev Dharshan of Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. Techmaghi LLP, Kochi, Kerala, set a milestone for maximum participants attending a live online technical workshop. The amazing act of floating on water for the longest duration with tied legs was performed by Vyshak TV of Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The record for the maximum number of doctors who participated in an awareness program on the importance of nutrition in women was set by Apex Laboratories of Chennai.

 

The record for the largest mattress was set by Keval Foam Pvt Ltd of Keshod, Gujarat. Vasantha Yoga Academy of Hyderabad set a new mark for the maximum non-stop performance of Suryanamaskars by a mixed age group. Battala Sporting Club of Kolkata created the tallest Maa Kali idol. The record for maximum participants in a cyclothon for Drug-Free Punjab was set by the Ludhiana Police  Commissionerate. The feat of driving maximum vehicles was made possible by Rifah Taskeen of Mysuru, Karnataka. The India Book of Records continues the tradition of helping creative and courageous people achieve their dreams of bringing unusual acts to life.
