During the visit, the Minister reviewed the performance of WCL and emphasized the importance of adopting advanced technologies, strengthening safety measures, and ensuring environmentally responsible mining. He reiterated the Government’s commitment to achieving energy security through increased domestic coal production while maintaining ecological balance.
The projects inaugurated include key infrastructure developments and green initiatives designed to augment production capacity, improve logistics, and support eco-friendly operations. These initiatives are expected to contribute significantly to the economic development of the region and generate employment opportunities.
