Intelligent Transportation System Thermal Camera launched for factories


The indigenous technologies of thermal cameras designed and developed by CDAC Thiruvananthapuram were transferred to M/s Aditya Infotech (CP Plus) under the InTranSE program of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. This is a step towards the Innovation, Science and Technology theme of Developed India@2047.

Thermal Camera: Thermal Smart Camera has an inbuilt Data Processing Unit (DPU) to run various AI based analytics. The indigenous technology is targeted for use in many sectors including smart cities, industries, defense and health etc. Field implementation, testing and validation of this camera was done for road traffic applications.

R&D Group, under INTRANS program of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, technologies/products/solutions developed for traffic control, public transport, road safety, sensors for traffic applications etc. have been compiled in the form of a booklet which Was launched to create awareness.

Exchange of documents related to technology transfer was held between Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology; Shri Bhuvanesh Kumar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology; Professor H P Pulled; It took place in the presence of Smt. Sunita Verma, GC R&D at E&IT, MEITY, senior government officials, CEOs and CTOs from industries.
